Hänel Storage Systems works closely with all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, Veteran’s Administration, U.S. Postal Service, administrative offices and many other government agencies to provide secure vertical storage solutions. As a GSA-approved vendor, Hänel replaces traditional fixed shelves, racks and cabinets with automated systems that deliver supplies to the operator at the touch of a button.
These systems save valuable space and time, increase accuracy, and reduce costs while increasing productivity. Each system is designed with the highest security measures to guarantee that unauthorized personnel are unable to access secure items.
Our trade fair schedule is in the planning stage. Details about our participation in future trade fairs will be available here soon.
Hänel units are used for dozens of applications, including military safety equipment storage (helmets, armor, tactical clothing, parachutes), archive document storage (such as blueprints for NASA spacecraft and satellites) and spare parts storage (such as the parts and tools for Air Force One).
The Hänel Rotomat® Vertical Carousel replaces row after row of traditional filing cabinets, freeing valuable floor space. Inventory is stored on carriers which rotate within the unit. The Office Rotomat® is commonly used to store personnel records, medical files and manuals. The Industrial Rotomat® features heavy-duty construction and is commonly used in the maintenance shop, machine shop, motor pool and hangar. This type of Rotomat® is ideal for storing bench stock and tools, spare parts, weapons, uniforms and survival kits.
The Lean-Lift® Vertical Lift Module stores inventory in a series of pans that are stored between slotted walls within the unit. A vertical extractor brings the desired pan to an access point, eliminating the need to search for supplies. Enclosed vertical storage saves floor space while protecting and securing inventory. The Lean-Lift® is utilized for mobility bags and assets, weapons, large equipment parts, generators, tactical gear and readiness supplies.
Hänel supports these products through a nationwide network of factory-trained service technicians, offering installation, maintenance and repair. All technicians are recertified annually to ensure the highest level of quality.
